Farcry vs Just Cause

Just a question for the gang... I've been a Farcry fan since FC3. Enjoyed playing through FC5, and pondering what to do next.

Haven't tried any of the Just Cause games. How do they compare?

Just Cause 2 and 3 are good, they are third person view though. The areas are huge and you can do missions in any order you want. I enjoyed both Just Cause 2 and 3.

Played all of the Just Cause games. Quite a different feel then FarCry. Just Cause is...less serious. More over the top. Explosions everywhere, physics is more of a subtle suggestion, and did I mention explosions? There are explosions. Alot of them. All three games are massive, free world destruction sand boxes.

If you are looking for a good, casual game that doesn't take itself too seriously, the Just Cause series is a helluva lot of fun.

Just Cause 3 is amazing. Its like FarCry if you were spiderman in 3rd person. Just make sure you back up your save file every so often. There is a glitch that can cause you to just lose the save file. I highly recommend.

Just cause 3 are dumb fun games, unlike FC 5 which is just dumb.
There's no real stealth element to Just Cause, but then the game makes it up with awesome explosions.

It really needs to be said..... the bugs in Just Cause 3 are not far and few between. You will experience wasted time due to bugs.

Can't say i ever had much issues with bugs.
But that is highly individual issue.
And there are plenty of bugs in FC5 as well.

Yea man seriously. That's why anyone getting into it needs to manually back up their save file. I lost 30+ hours when the save file bug deleted my ♥♥♥♥, which basically killed the game for me. I'm not going to replay all that.

I can deal with smaller gameplay bugs, graphical bugs, sound bugs, physics bugs, ect, but deleting a save file is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game breaking and it hasn't been fixed after all this time still. Can you tell I'm salty? It's a great game tho too which just makes it suck more that I couldn't finish it.

I love both. JC is kind of like the Saints Row of these kinds of games. More humourous, goofier characters, intentionally over the top, full of crazy gadgets and absurd quests, Hollywood level carnage, and arcadish dynamic movement throughout the world, etc.
