Is Peaches ignoring targets intentional :/?
Hi everyone,

I''ve just rescued Peaches the Puma and running with her and Boomer. I'm trying to do some hunting to test her abilities but she seems to be ignoring target 90% of the time. Did anyone else also had this issue or did I stumbled upon some weird bug/glitch?

Literally every animal I mark for her, except for deers for whatever reason, she seems to simply ignore. You sent Boomer after a bear, moose or puma and you see him running at the opponent like a rocket. Peaches most of the time just stands in one place or simply looks at the animal and does nothing.

Is this intentional given that cats aren't all that prone to listen to commands in real life or is it something else?
I was really looking forward to unlocking her, but now that I did she seems to be useless. Same goes for human enemies. Boomer is simply invisible when running around when you crouch, Peaches seems to be as well most of the times.

I was trying to take an outpost out with her and Boomer. I've made 4 attempts at it, enemies didn't see her on 2 attempts, but on the other 2 they noticed her straight away. I'm honestly lost now.

Thanks in advance for any aswers ;).

You could try unassigning then assigning again. It worked for me. OR you can try petting her and stare at the heterochromic eyes.

This appears to be a glitch with Peaches, as she to date hasn't given me any issue with failing to follow commands, especially in combat. Usually the puma has a special animation for all of her ordered kills, some of which, as with Cheeseburger's, like to fail and bug out from my experience where they stand there stupefied, at times not even pathing to the target or waiting until the target does some sort of routine that was interrupting it.

For the detection issues, those are throughout the game. Peggies seem just as unaware of Peaches as Jess Black half of the time, then the other half of the time they magically witness her. This seems to be tied to the special instant-death animations in some way, such as I notice if the enemy makes a sound - at all - during their death, everyone notices. Granted this is only reasonable, it has bad feedback for a player. Other times it seems like Peaches is just autodiscovered, though I notice most of it has to do with cover and concealment; the intelligence for Peaches doesn't always use the most hidden avenue of approach despite the character being stealth based and mountain lions, as with just about any other cat, being all about the hunt, stalk, ambush, kill tactic.

My advice? Remove her as a follower, restart the game, call her back out.

sounds like my cat is being more sneaky when he's trying to make me break my neck, might just be a bug with her pathfinding logic
