Ally AI Is Completely Unimmersive

So far with FarCry 5, my thoughts on it are pretty damn good. I'm in the small starting island at the ranger station to liberate it and I decided that I wanted to take a stealthy approach to it. It just happens that I decided to keep the first ally npc with me that you get on a tutorial mission. I look around the station and decided I couldn't take a direct stealth approach from the front of the yard, so I sneak around back and decide that the roof is a good place to scout the place out and maybe start picking them off from there. Well I jump onto a dog house and then up to the roof and when I get up there I see my ally just running along the front yard where the enemy is in their direct sight just to jump onto the roof in the front... Luckily it seems that the enemy will not spot out ally npcs that follow you. But seriously this guy should of been spotted the way he went as there was two enemy npcs looking that direction as well as one more enemy walking back and forth that direction. Luckily, I don't plan on using allies later in the game as this was a one time thing to experience what they are like and I gotta say that they are sh!t so far lol.

Some of them are good for certain missions. Rick is awesome for "destroy" missions.. jess black is super nice for hunting and stealth. Boomer for marking everything without binos. The others are meh.. and the AI isn't good I agree there.

Helicopter lady and Rick can destory a outpost with you smoking on the mountain. They have their uses. Just dont use and forget them.. they otherwise mess up your gameplay.

It's probably very hard to code stealthy AI. Other games have done the same as you describe - I can think of Ghost Recon Wildlands.

I just activated the radio tower (had some funny and clever dialogue) and after, my ally npc just vanished completely. I no longer have him in the command menu either. Maybe a bug or maybe they took him away since he was a tutorial npc.
