Where are the weapons?
So I'm like 75% of the way through the game, and nothing new has been added to the store as far as weapons go.

The lack of weapons is extremely underwhelming for a game like Farcry. I feel like there was a much larger selection in both 3 and 4! What's the point of the AR tab when you put 2 lever-action and semi-auto rifles in there? Those should be classified as snipers! I also feel it's lazy to extend the barrel of the standard AR and call it a "sniper". (not to mention every AI in the game carry the same weapon.)

Also, no point in locking weapons behind progression when you can buy a skinned version of it right away. Once you aquire an M60, SA-50, and an RPG (which can be done in the first hour of playing.) there's nothing left that's worth unlocking.

You could have had 3 times the selection, isn't this game in America?

Yes,I'm on hard but I'm specifically refering to the "boss" enemies like the flamethrower and heavy cultist guys with helmets, not the regular henchmen.

It was like that in 3 and 4 as well. One shot to remove their helmet, another to kill them.

And about the underpowered thing, an M60 takes dudes down in one shot on normal, and takes down those heavy dudes with no trouble.

In FC5, they seem to need more than 1 headshot to remove the helmet. Even FC3's heavy could be taken down in one shot if we manage to have LOS on the back of the head since their helmets are only covering the front half of the head IIRC. FC5's covers the entire head.

It seems believable though, the other games you were up against a military of some sort it would make sense you would have access to lots of weapons.
This takes place in rural Montana, we should be grateful we have m60s

Yeah, for the two .50cal snipers it should be a one-hit kill headshot, as the .50cal MG on vehicles can do that.

Doesn't bother me except for the lever action rifles. They are completely useless when everyone under the sun carries an AR-15.

Hard to kill is okay but needing multiple headshots from the most powerful sniper rifle is not.

The fact that the shops are bloated with so many reskins is disgusting. Counting guns with different stats there are only 4 rifles 4 snipers 2 smgs 4 shotguns, 2 lmgs, 4 pistols, 3 and 3 machine pistols, that just saddens me.

if you think about it and actually look at the weapon loadout? There are NOT that many guns. Because most of these guns are earlier weapons you unlock with less parts!

WHY ARE WEAPON SKINS COUNTED AS SEPERATE WEAPONS!? THEY ARE NOT DIFFERENT IN ANY STATISTICAL WAY!! THERE IS NO ADVANTAGE TO HAVING THEM OVER A REGULAR WEAPON!!

Most of the vehicles suffer this too. Actually look at the stats and you will find that most of these weapons and vehicles are clones with no mechanical difference between any of them.

Also how are we in a hunting state that doesn't have big ass hunting knives as a weapon?

A progression system should work from bad to good. Not okay-okay. You give people ♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons to start with, and give better weapons down the road. Like an F2000 should be an end-game AR.

Look, point is, you americans have an absurd number of weapons that are legal, and this cult is bringing in clearly illegal stuff and doesn't care about american law, so there is no excuse for this incredibly underwhelming selection, nor is it acceptable to have reskins as their own weapons, or to remove weapon parts, or add a single weapon part and call it a new weapon. Farcry 4 had a huge selection of weapons, from ww2 era handguns up to modern military weapons. How does a small armpit of a country in india have a better weapon loadout than an american state?
