The only time the FOV becomes a problem is when you crouch. IDK why but when doing so the gun hugs your camera way closer than usual. I bring up crouching fov cuz that's the only time I noticed a major difference in the weapon size. Try crouching vs standing up, its nuts how much of a difference there is.
yeah it's actually a huge difference. Also if you look at when you have about 120 fov set and you're petting Boomer or reviving a teammate your viewmodel fov goes really far, I'd love it if it stayed there.
Why even model a great gun if you are going to hide half of it beyond view? absolutely stupid! The sniper scopes are barely visible because of this.
Yeah, the weapon models are really cool. But you can barely see them because they're so in your face, man. It's absurd with some weapons, like when you're holding the hunter's rifle with the biggest scope on and you crouch, it's like half the screen just looking at your gun lmao. I do not want that, at all. There should just be two fov sliders, a general one and a weapon fov one.
