I'll get another copy of Far Cry 3?

almost no steam games do an extra copy in bundles/incentives. anytime it will it clearly says it will. mostly it's only in valve's own games, and select few third party offers.

Incorrect. I already owned Far Cry 3 through Uplay. Now I have two copies of it in my games list in the Uplay app. The new copy of Far Cry 3 Deluxe also shows in my Steam list. I am installing it now through Steam.

Then you should probably submit a ticket to Uplay support. Hopefully they can get it worked out for you.

I already own FC3 in my Steam library. But from the Ubisoft FAQ on the FC5 Season Pass concerning FC3, it says that a separate copy of FC3 Deluxe will show up in my Steam library as a separate copy.

Since I own just the standard version, I was hoping to see FC3 Deluxe added but it has not shown up yet. I do own the Season Pass for FC5.

Because we run in a legal problem here if this isn't written clearly somewhere.
It only said "Includes Far Cry®3- access to the game will be granted on May 29th 2018"

It doesn't say how i get access, it doesn't say if i have the game i will not get a extra copy.
So it is in some way false advertisment.

Also there is no link to the FAQ article about this and if i press the link from onnosleep it gives an error.

Second , it said nothing about that if i have the game i will not get an extra copy.
Third, everything is insignificant if it is not on the Steam Store page. Valve rules since a few year now.

dude you get an extra copy that was pretty much Known since they accounced adding FC 3 to the season pass for gods sake .. PC gamer and many other sites had Articles about it months ago not my fault you didnt look into the game before you bought it

it was pretty much understood by me at least ....

as Ubi soft already had preety much SPELLED IT OUT ...it out in many annoucements on many many sites .. but i guees you do not visit gaming sites ?? or read gameing news somehow ?


so i knew what we were gonna get as far as FC 3 in the season pass .. since steam no longer passes out CD keys for Ubi uplay games as of the summer sale of 2015 ..maybe you missed that ..yea it was quite a few yrs ago they changed that too ..maybe your too young to remember ?

and yea ubisoft is not just gonna grant you a transferrable CD Key for the game


as yea many CHEAP ass gamers would sell those on Flea bay if they already have FC 3 ..and the codes of course may not match the region they were sold in ..then that opens a whole can of worms for supprt issues and yea they do not want people randonly selling key codes for their games ..and price jacking it in other regions or price cutting in others

and yea the games are region locked on steam .. take that up with Valve

so yea go SUE steam .. good luck ..as their lawyers will win

and with Uplay you have no leg to stand on ..see the Ubisoft eula you agreed to to install the game ..hmm steam has one too
