Desperately need help - 'loot full'

Ok, so I know this is an issue with this game, but I'm at a total loss - I'm at 'Testy Festy' trying to loot the bull testicles but no matter what I sell, what I craft - it keeps telling me my loot is full.

I've used the increase capacity perk, so beyond this, I'm completely at a loss as to how to create space.

The game doesn't let you drop anything, and there's no 'mission object' inventory beyond keys.

So...any ideas?

The balls go into a hidden inventory and has nothing to do with the “ loot full” message.

If tracking each of the 3 types of balls isn’t working, you’re doing the quest wrong.
