Ace Killer achievement
"Destroy 10 planes while driving any aerial vehicle."

Did anyone complete it the intended way shooting down enemy planes? Does it count as a kill if the enemy plane only explodes when it crashes down?

I think it only counts if the plane explodes from you shooting it, not crashing.
