White collar challenge kills not being counted?

I've killed 2 regular wolves and 10 judge wolves. My ubi counter says Ive contributed 0. Any suggestions? UPDATE: I think it was a glitch w. the ubi interface. In-game after I elected to partiipate the mouse cursor was embedded in the center of the screen. I exited completely and restarted, then it began counting kills.

Are you using a bow? and have you made sure to click the button to enter the challenge?

Yes, you must go to the SHIFT-F2 menu, select the Club Challenge menu and on the white colar challenge you must hit the accept link. Until that is done, none of your kills will count.

By the way, if you do not have a bow, but you have Jess as a follower, she can kill them for you.

Go to wolf hunting region.
Toss a piece of bait.
Wolf arrives.
Shoot it in the head with a bow (body shots will take 2)
Or alternatively target it and tell Jess to attack it.
Repeat until challenge is done. Maybe 5 min.


Bow Tip of the Week: if you ever run out of arrows, toss bait, have jess kill stuff and you get her arrows added to your inventory when you go to the body and/or loot it.

Alternately you can get ifinite from the hunters in jacobs region just sit by a tree.

The challenge button was gold, and for some reason there were two instances of the challenge showing, not sure why. At any rate, it resolved when I restarted.

indeed the double thing is odd. And the 1/2 and 2/2 thing seems awkward at best.

At least you are not like me. The first challenge I did I saw the big one at the top and I kept at it hour after hour and the progress bar barely moved. I was overwrought.

Then I realized the big one on top is the community wide challenge everyone contributes to.

Yeah, I'm not all that bright :)

I never had to do that. I just went to the ad on the main menu and clicked on it and asks me if i want to accept the challenge.

Yes, I looted quite a few and the counter didn't increment. More importantly when I looted them it didn't make the comment about finding a collar. After I restarted the game completely it began working.

how quick are you killing them? you have to wait for the next refresh for the progress to show it updates every 5 minutes I think

The first try I killed/looted 12 total and it was well over 5 minutes. Since it began working after a restart and the redundant challenge was gone, I'd say it was a transient glitch.
