took 2 seconds to find that page
I'll try and be as clear as I possibly can. One of the perks reduces the number of ingredients used for consumables (Ultimate Hunter, Ultimate Survivor, The Furious, The Fast, etc). However, there is not any perk that has this function listed in its description. It's a hidden benefit of one of the perks and I'm trying to find out which one it is because I would like to use it early in my next play through.
Harvest Master - 8 Points - Double your loot reward from plants and animals.
I do appreciate you following up, but I know for a fact that Harvest Master is not it. I unlocked that perk early and have used it through most of the game to double what gets added to inventory. For exampe, I know that if I pick 1 Prairie Fire plant, I get two Prairie Fire inventory samples.
But that's not what I'm asking about. To craft Ultimate Hunter, your inventory normally gets depleted by 2 Prarie Fire, 2 Jimson Weed and 2 Mustard. With the mystery perk, crafting Ultimate Hunter only depletes your inventory by 1 Prairie Fire, 1 Jimson Weed and 1 Mustard. That change happend long after I had the Harvest Master Perk.
To elaboratre, I have now played through the entire game and am now playing around with resetting outposts before I start another full playthrough. I am fully conversant with how crafting works and have crafted everything available. I have also done every side mission and almost all single player challenges. That resulted in a whole bunch of surplus perk points that I thought I would splurge on the remaining perks. I had a number that I did not initially purchase because they didn't appear to suit my play style. However, one of these late bought perks has a hidden side benefit that does cater to my play style and I don't konw which one it is.
