And your silver bars in the game do they reset to 0 as well when you start a new game ?
Thank you kindly, was thinking about starting a new game myself.
Unfortunate, but true. These are tied to the save game, so if you start a new game, you'll reset your progress including purchases.
Very dubious design choice, really...purchases should not be tied to the saved game, it just makes no sense. What if you spent real life money with such purchases, they vanish as soon as you start over? LMAO
Dying Light is a game that uses an interesting approach, saving story progress and character progression in separate files, so you are perfectly able to start a new game resetting the entire story without losing weapons, skills, outfits, etc you have worked hard to collect and unlock. But that's because the game supports NG+, which is not, unfortunately, the case of Far Cry 5 :(.
It seems they are pushing for Far Cry Arcade for longevity, but I have no interest in that.
I personally will be making a pvp map that I don't think anyone else has thought of and if it tests out how I am hoping; it should be a ton of goofy fun.
But bottom line outside main game and DLC Arcade is the only place to be and I can't wait to see all the crazy stuff people are going to put out. I expect plenty of recreations from other games to show up particularly after the assets from the DLCs are added.
I agree 100% with that as well. I would have played it again, but I do not want to lose my progress of my first character.
Do you remember Spore? That had user created content that could be played. And I would say over 99% of it was complete garbage. The few gems that were there were buried. I agree the possibilities are grand. But the reality bores me to tears.
I played the upside down Journey map, and hated it. While some of the Ubisoft created Outpost maps were good. But that is why I like the game in the first place. Not user created "look what I can do".
