Controller not working? heres what worked for me.

I'm using a ps4 controller with input mapper!

Close uplay, turn off all controller support in steam (uncheck all the boxes) and close steam.

grab this program from input mapper https://inputmapper.com/downloads/download/5-tools/76-inputmapper-hidguardian

1. Install hidguardian. Reboot.
2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\DSDCS\InputMapper HidGuardian
3. Run Install Driver.bat as admin (right click on batch file select "run as admin")
-> only executes 2 lines and then disappears, barely visible

open input mapper and connect your controller (mine is through bluetooth)
ensure that it connects exclusively-Important

run far cry 5 and hope to god everything works cause it did for me and i can finally play this thing from my couch!

This fixed the dpad not working and the L2 button in vehicles not working, full controller support.
