Ah crud forgot to post the obvious. I know I can dismiss the dog and the others. My point mostly went towards the opinion of "I'd rather they focus time and effort into something else." The animal has an entire skill tree devoted to him. Think of what else that could have been rather than buffing the indestructible dog.
Not sure why you are hating on Boomer when this gameplay mechanic applies to ALL living things in Far Cry 5. Well, everything but the NPCs animals you hunt.
A game where I am attacked by 2 bears, a cougar, and 3 or 4 dudes from out of nowhere. All while a chopper is raining bullets down from above.......and this isn't even rare. This is the game normally. Rare is when.......nothing much happens lol.
I'm enjoying the mentalness of the game. But i'm constantly ripped from immersion by all the things that are happening. I'm constantly laughing while playing this game. :P
Then he pays attention more.
I find him to be an awesome companion that destroys the enemy’s element of surprise.
And he’s never attacked anyone without orders before at least not while I’m in stealth mode.
You can only get one upgrade for each companion.
And it’s just a faster respawn upgrade.
