John Seed wont show up.

I am up to the Showdown with John Seed. It said he was coming to Falls End, but the town is deserted and he wont show up. Do I need to do something to trigger him to show up, or is he too yellow to fight me? I had one glitch though, I destroyed the armed convoy with a plane, but I got no credit for it, maybe a glitch with this horribly buggy game.

Go to the church to meet John. Some mission that you complete while John is waiting for you won't complete (give rewards) until John is dealt with. At least that's how it worked for me with two misisons.

Walk up to the front door of the Church to start the John Seed mission.

just go away from fall's end, you'll get another message later where he say he gathered everyone and waiting for you, hell, go explore faith region, just go as far as possible from the area for now.

Just keep roaming around other places other than Falls End, like Fast Travelling, mainly. Eventually, you'll get a call from John to meet you at the church in Falls End. Wait a few secs after you fast travel, though, to give the call some time to happen. I had this same problem too, then it fixed itself when I FT'd.

Well, i played around a bit but i still can't start the mission. I hope they will fix it soon.

Once I went to the church to confront Joseph Seed, but the church was wide open, but empty. Weird. I went roaming away and it triggered. This game is buggy as f**ck.

Just fast travel some place far from Falls End (like 800 meters far) and the mission will automatically trigger.

This^. I had the exact same problem and Sherf's solution worked for me, but make sure it is far away, like he said.

I am on version 1.5.0 with the same issue. I have tried travelling to other islands, doing other primary and side missions - the John Showdown mission just won't start. The church and the city are empty. I am very frustrated and don't know what to do. Please advise.

OK, got it solved. Had to do the Air Raid mission which on it's own is a bug. It was on my list but the marker was not on the map so I didn't quite understand what I had to do. So I watched walk-through for that mission on youtube just to understand how I can start it. Once I boarded that yellow plane the Air Raid mission started, but the in the middle of the flight I got knocked out by a bliss/drug and another mission started. Once I completed it and then got knocked out by a bliss AGAIN to find myself in a bunker. Once I got out, John Seed finally radioed in and I could start that damn mission.

I had this ishue too. I restarted my savegame and the ishue keep happening again, until I found what was going on.

The responsible for the bug is the mod "Autosave Disabler (TEST)".

In the description it is written that the problem is known and I still didn't pay attention. The mod is to be used after the storyline is finish.

Almost 2023 and I am still having this issue :( went to the church, went through the cutscenes and action, until I reached the plane, and as soon as I entered the plane nothing happened
