Found it much more entertaining. You can replay missions whenever you want, the game doesnt constantly interrupt what you are doing with "Story Time!" cutscenes/kidnappings.
Huge selection of guns and modifications.
Far cry 5 has the makings of a great game, but its execution of certain elements is just dreadful. Wildlands has no major downfalls that i can think of.
The Wildlands map seems bigger, but it also depends on what you call SP content.
In game events, activities, endgame content, unlocking.
Yeah, this guy uses the words "It can be kinda fun" and "mechanically, Wildlands is more simplistic than I was hoping". The guy uses a lot of phrases and words in a review that would represent a less than satisfactory game. Ehh no...
There are so many more bad guys with their own little storylines than Seed family. None of them are memorable, but does a slightly better job than this crazy cultist types.
Plus there is always 4 Player CoOp against 2.
I wish Wildlands had a first person mode.
In-game events? FC5 hasn't been out more than a couple of weeks, so give it a chance.
Activities? Not a 100% sure on what you mean by that, in Wildlands the activities are the same in each region. Go here, destroy or get this.
End-game content? I think Wildlands will have the edge here easily, as even though you have the Outpost Master functionality in FC5, all the enemy NPC's regenerate and populate their bases, outposts, etc pretty much straight away (there may be a small timer on it). I was initially disappointed in this during my first hour or so of playing but you get used to that.
Unlocking? Perks are probably about the same, although the trees are organised slightly differently and have levels which FC5 doesn't. Far more weapons in Wildlands if you're a collector - I tend to stick to a couple of weapons and not deviate. Had to change this focus slightly in FC5 due to the challenges, but once I got the shotgun challenge (for example) I put it away and never used it again - although not sure why you would put a sight and silencer on a shotgun, but hey...
I love both games, they're generally approached in completely different ways although ultimately the game style is very much the same.
I have 119 solo hours in Wildlands (less than 20 minutes in coop) and roughly 16 hours in FC5 so far...
My point is simply this - a shotgun is not a stealth weapon by any stretch of the imagination.
You can pretend it is, but don't ♥♥♥♥♥ about realism for anything else if that's the route you want to take. People will be wanting silencers on RPG's next...
Yes, I know.

My point is that it's still pretty loud and clearly says so.
