What order should you do the regions?

Just wondering. I have only done John’s stuff so far. But feel like it might make more sense storyline wise to do faith first since you meet the resistance there that you see in all three regions...

Ya, doesn't matter. My advice would be to avoid story missions in any region though and watch your reputation metre. Once you beat a boss the regions become very sparse with enemy activity.

i did john then jacob, now working on faith, but it really does not matter.

Faith spoils the ending, Jacob has nothing to do with the main plot, and John is the tutorial area. Do John, Jacob then Faith.

either jacob or faith 2nd, but definitly john 1st. Falls End just feels like a "home town"

Oddly, there are far fewer elite enemies in Faith’s region than the other two. Also, Faith’s region has the same Cult Properties as Dutch’s Island (the tutorial area). They do recommend (in game) to “Start with Fall’s End” but, honestly, John’s region is actually the hardest no matter how many perks or weapons you have. I know this because I’ve played through the campaign in different orders with different friends. In my opinion, if you’d like the game to get harder as you go, then Faith->Jacob->John.

I did Faith -> John -> Jacob, don't ask me why, just liberated the regions in random order XD but as stated above several times, it really doesn't matter :D

I've played through twice now. First time was John > Faith > Jacob on Normal difficulty. Second time was John > Jacob > Faith on Hard difficulty. Storywise it doesn't seem to matter much. My second playthrough I did focus more on building perk points and abilities in preparations for the boss fights and bunkers so I moved from region to region quite a bit before actually completing them.

For me (from easiest to hardest)
Regions; John, Jacob, Faith
Boss fights; John, Faith, Jacob
Bunkers; Jacob, Faith, John

I've always done it in the order of John, Faith and finally Jacob. Somehow that just seems to flow better.

It's worth taking into account that Faith's region will force you to do her bunker (thus liberating the region) after you kill her.
For this reason I usually do Henbane river last.

John's zone was my favorite and has lots of caches

You do all three bunkers after killing the lieutenant.

Yes, but you're not FORCED to do two of them.
After killing John and Jacob their bunkers become available as missions, so you can do them whenever you choose. Even leave them until you've done everything else in the game if you want.
But after you kill Faith, the game will force you to do her bunker immediately. You get no choice in it.
