Check out the screenshots. Also the capacity was I THINK 26 bullets total and 5 per magazine For Standard clip.

So your rifle has piercing rounds uploaded into it. Unless you own the "Special Ammo Bag" perk, the maximum amount of Armor Piercing 50. Cal ammo you can carry is 5 (the amount you have). if you want to switch back to regualr 50. Ammo, press "U" (in case you haven't changed any key bindings) or do so through the weapon wheel. If you want more than 5 armor piercing 50. cal bullets in you, you gotta purchase the "special ammo bag" perk!

if you have a .50 cal weapon equipped you will see it when you buy ammo as an "automatic" purchase, unless you already reached a load-out limit for that ammo.

This. If you don't see .50 ammo when you try to replenish your ammo in a store, it means you're already maxed on that specific ammo.

I'm sure my weapon is not maxed out. I really want to buy ammo but no .50 cal ammo in store.

Are you trying to buy the specialized ammo? You need to select the specialized.50 call ammo in the wep select screen, it doesn't automatically swap different ammo types if you run out.

If you have the .50 cal equipped and it doesn't show the ammo when you buy ammo, you have a full load out, or you have a seriously bugged out game.

Specialized ammo is armor piercing. incendiary, etc.

Good luck solving your issue, if you can't figure out how to buy ammo for equipped weapons I doubt if you can complete the game.

But how were you able to before, and now you are not? That doesn't make sense...what rifle are you using? Again: if the ammo cannot be bought, it means you are maxed on that kind of ammo already.

If you are using armor piercing rounds, and are unable to find them for sale, it means you haven't unlocked Black Market perk, which allows you to buy special ammo from traders and stores.
