co op campaign question
so i create the lobby i invite my friend we finish the game together

can he keep the progress we got in the game

The player invited in the host’s game is essentially a “Friend for Hire”. When you join a co-op game as a guest, you are playing in your host’s world to help them progress.

This means that once you leave the co-op mode after a game as a Friend for Hire, you do not keep the World Progression completed during the co-op session. However, you keep your own Player Progression – XP, in-game currency, inventory items, and more – once you leave the co-op game and are back in your own world.

this is a good thing trust me, i accidentally accepted save game from far cry 4 and my ex friend ended up over writing my save with his half way beaten save. i dint think much of it because i wanted to shoot things again but still. allowing progress to carry over can happen like that. imagine if you just beat the game and you join your friend and after your done you go back to single player and you find out that his save is now yours. it would suck, so im ok with stuff not carrying over

so the entire campaign is actually co-op for the first time? not a couple of lame side missions like all the other farcrys? if so I am preordering now.

I really like the way they're handling it. Allowing us to keep XP, money, and gear we get helping a friend is a good incentive to play with other people.
Just having co-op is an incentive to play. I just enjoy PVE fighting with friends in shooter games and RPGs.
