change difficulty settings?

Hello gamers, can anyone let me know if you can change the difficulty settings in Far Cry 5? I am finding the game a bit easy! Thanks. G

Yes you can. I played my first run on Hard, but I've found Infamouse to be the most satisfying 👍

I've never done so, but your definitely supposed to be able to in the" Gameplay " submenu. I could be wrong though ~ you can add a measure of additional difficulty just by disabling the detection meters and so on.

I think you can only do it by starting a new game, but don't quote me on that. I can only tell you that when I switched to NG+ it did warn that to change difficulty, once you'd selected, would need another new game start.
If anyone knows differently, do chip in.

Pretty sure it's at "game start only" as opposed to during a playthrough. I don't remember seeing any way to change it during a playthrough.

Thanks all, have disabled detection meters and everything else and completed it all within a few days. Thought Far Cry 4 was better.
