Am glad that Ubisoft ditched that crap steam, at least there won't be any stupid threads like yours !!
Your post is completely irrelevant to what I posted.
All season pass DLCs have been released too.
The game is no longer been supported, no more patches, addons or any updates.
Thanks for the replay, it makes sense but I don't think they will abandon their product which was released just last year.
All season pass DLCs have been released too.

They do that with every game like that.
Once last season pass DLC is released, support on game is over.
Exception are games with extensive Multiplayer core.

well steam is only one digital distribution point .. they sell games on and yes many more copies on other digital partner sites that sell more copies then steam combined
ALL DVD copies use only Uplay .. no steam involved
steam \ valve also locks the player into only buying DLC on steam ..if you buy your base game on steam YOU MUST BUY YOUR DLC on steam for it to work
see https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/Faqs/000027275/Game-content-compatibility-between-Steam-and-Uplay/
steam changes the install locations as well as save file locations .. they have done this for far cry 3 4 5 Primal and even new dawn as well as the AC games ... to lock players into buying only DLC usually at an inflated price... when the games (and DLC ) are in fact on sale more often on other digital partner sites
steam does this why ? yes steam needs to make a buck too off other peoples games that they distribute
bottom line your always better off with a Uplay only copy ..they can be found cheaper , on sale , more often then what steam charges for ubisoft developed titles
Ubisoft made the decision to only allow only uplay achievements early in the development cycle
so that's what ya get .. only achievements in Uplay .. by the way they sold over 7 million units of the game .. steam sales to date = less then 1 million
according to steam spy https://steamspy.com/app/552520
it shows Steam owners count 500,00 to 1 million

so no there is no need to add a thing to the game . nor waste more dev time or investment on a game that has already shipped and out sold the previous game
personally i only buy Uplay only copies from now on ...for my Ubisoft games .. so its a non issue to me .. got far cry New dawn alot cheaper then what steam sold it for.... the day it shipped off green man games .. same with FC primal
all steam adds is more DRM and another DRM hoop to hop thru as you must load steam + uplay to play your game
uplay only copies require only the Uplay launcher
After all what's the point of having Steam launches Uplay. I can just go and use Uplay launcher.
I remember 13-year-old but hurt children saying the same thing about EA games and then what happened ?
valve takes a 30 % cut of all games and DLC on everything sold on steam .. all the new UBI titles are sold on Ubi connect and EPIC ..as epic takes less of a cut of the sale price
get over it .. all achievements are done yes in UBI connect
steam is only a single store ............that sells the game , usually at a much higher price then you can find online direct from ubi partner sites
If steam sells it at a much higher price doesn't that mean that UBI would get a bigger cut of the action as well? ;)
For far cry 5 70% of 60 euros is 42 on steam, Ubi is selling it for 12 euros on their page.
Are they getting more money by selling on steam or directly? XD
