Everyone is playing the stupid Elf with the stupid javelin

I have been played this game for about 900hrs mostly play Legend/Cata difficulty
Stopped play for about 9 months and just come back from Monster Hunter

Now everyone is playing the stupid Elf with the stupid javelin
spam the stupid range attack, dont have to worry about ammunition.
Hey~ the stupid javelin is armor piercing, don have to aim for the head even the Armor type enemies

it such a NICE Balance!
Please let Sienna has infinite Overcharge as well
Remove the ability bar for Bardin's Gatling gun
Kruber should able to shot Homing Headshot Arrow
Saltz should has 2 eyes

Im sorry, im very disappoint on current weapon balance

Recently I've been loving playing Shade with the moonbow

To be fair. It is the best build. You could pick Longbow but then you are forced to use the ammo refill talent.
With unlimited amo you can pick more Trueflight arrows from 3->4. With the Bloodshot talent that doubles your shot you have 8 Trueflight arrows. That is so much power....
Moonbow? Lol. Just dont.

Have you tried the javelin? Its IMO the most fun and satisfying ranged weapon to use.
There is nothing quite as satisfying as lining up a clean shot taking out a row of slave rats with the javelin

the best thing is the most time elf javelin spamer dont kill long range special because they cant aim properly, so after she shoot you in the ass and chase greeen circle, you need to hunt special because she dont do it...

It is not just the Javelin which is balanced badly. Coruscation Staff or Griffonfoot are on similar level of stupid and there are some other weapons which are overpowered too, although not to that extent.

But don't try to mention this. Some people would sacrifice their first born to convince you that it is totally balanced becaused it can't bodyshot everything on Cataclysm or that Longbow scales better into Cataclysm 4 Deathwish games. Not understanding that the issue of Javelins comes from the two-bodyshot strength with high mobility and non-existence reload times.

I would argue or rather expand on this:
The only problem javelin has is that it is too strong for vanilla game, simply because the maps have no enemies at all.
At the very moment you crank up the difficulty, javelin starts to became useless.
Damage is pathetic, shielders laugh at it and it sux at horde clearing compared to anything.

But as mentioned, this is elf weapon, so the hate must go on.

If anything, elf needs some serious buffs as right now, while sister being the most busted OP class there is no real alternative for her on the highest level of difficulties:

- HM is for true solo/speedrunners, but otherwise completely useless
- Shade has her identity crisis ever since the "rework"
- Waystalker is a niche pick for sniping or hagstalking, unless you have godlike aim for spamming piercing shot and hitting heads 90+% of the time, but still javelin is not even remotely close to how brutally strong hagstalker is

I was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about Javelin being crap on Cata, but it seems the problem is more with Waystalker being almost useless on Cata. The Aimbot ult doesn't scale well on cata. She can provide a half measure HP regen, but that's it. Ok Boss damage too, but only if you hit headshots and nothing is bothering you while you do it and the boss doesn't move around....so basically never. Also you still need some javelins ready for actual special sniping.
Tried making it work with Longbow, Hagbane and Moonbow. Javelin is still the best.
You need to shoot through hordes to get the specials. Only Javelin can do that reliably.
