will vermintide 2 get more updates in 2023?

ive searched alot and cant find any info confirming if it will or wont. i know sienna will get an update but is that the end?

There is not more information available due to poor community reception concerning past announcements which have then be delayed.

So what we "know" of or maybe better "heard" of is that the second part of Trail of Treachery will come and that Sienna's Premium Career will come. Not sure if these are two different kind of updates or come as one. Anything else concerning updates at this point is unconfirmed or imagined.

That's all I've seen and heard. I'd guess it will depend upon how well V2 continues to sell and attract players and by comparison DT. If everyone abandons V2 for DT then they'll stop supporting V2.

Probably Sienna´s career and the final DLC quest. And I think that will be all - Darktide will be their new focus, so I think Vermintide 2 will be (sadly) finished.

There was supposed to be at least a map pack, new faction and sienna career. Doubt they're gonna add a new faction or map pack now.

There will be a new map based on what's said in that announcement - "The first map in a two-part adventure - Trail of Treachery is the first of a two-part adventure map pack. The second act will be available in 2023"

We can only hope that Darktide go bad and they focus on vermitide 2 with PVP

Do we have a source for that map pack and new faction comment? Because FS never mentioned this. Community talks a lot about another faction though.

I don't think a new faction was ever officially confirmed. That was mostly hearsay and theorycrafting from the community due to Trail of Treachery's ending having Sienna's sister, a Necromancer, being hinted at as the final boss of the next map.

So unless someone from FS said something recently I'm not aware of, only Sienna's class and the second part of Trail of Treachery were ever officially announced.

guess you haven't looked because they will release part 2 of ToT and sienna's 4th career most likely will come out at the same time. as for an exact date, its TBD, but it is scheduled for sometime next year.

in their dev streams, they also confirmed, but its still probably not going to really happen, that they do still want versus but you know. they have other more important things to work on now, so. lol don't hold your breath on that one.
