Chaos wasted the Stability of the Game
From 10 Runs you can finish maybe 5 without crashing. i posted that once before that they should implement a save state of the current run.

And before you no-lives come here again and start making a scene "It IsNt HoW It Is SuPpOsEd To bE PlAyEd" if you could finish a run actually then yea saving state would still be damn helpfull for people who have a life outside of steam but i would be okay without but if crashes are this frequent its the least thing they can do if they cant handle the crashes which still occur frequently since the release of the game.

Wasting an hour just for a crash to get rid of the entire progression you made is unsatisfying and disencouraging af.

And once again if you just come here to comment this bs that saving runs ruins the purpose of the game go just somewhere else we know your point and we dont care

Well, I don't think anybody is going to disagree with you that having some form of save from crashing would be a good idea. It's been discussed a lot that at the very least there should be a host transfer.

But isnt there something like this already in place ? Correct if im wrong.

Last time i played with some friends 3 of us crashed on the third map but the 4th one didnt ..and he took over the game.So we all joined him and continued.

Edit: I forgot to mention he wasnt the host at first.

Incorrect. I crashed as host like three times so far and just rejoined whoever it migrated to. Only the current map progress was reset and everyone still had their boons (and the boons picked up in the map that was restarted). And yes, I still had all my stuff too.
Also if you aren't the host and crash/disconnect, you can also rejoin the same session (if not full by then) and retain all your progress

Oh, I've never had a disconnect in CW so I wouldn't know. I just assumed it was the same as campaign.

Whenever it crashes for me it crashes either for others too or the game gets cancelled entirely and the progression lost
We had a d/c last night after which the host could continue soloing, but couldn't be rejoined by anyone.

Then, on the following run after starting over, host (me) crashed near the very end (no splat or error code). No migration or persistence of any kind, clients booted and run ended.

So if there is supposed to be some kind of failsafe, it doesn't seem to function.

I've been here long enough to know a Fatshark update usually won't be stable until weeks later though, lol. No offense! You guys do great work, just keep trying. I'll be really excited to spend some time on this mode once it's truly ready.

Exactly ..i was kinda happy we kept all our boons haha.

Exactly ..i was kinda happy we kept all our boons haha.
I played so many runs, and so far only crashed three times. Two in my friend's lobby, and one in mine. However, it was always a crash for all the players in our case.
From all the crashes, connection lost to host, or backend errors (at least 10 total) only once did it migrate me as host and continue the progress. However; I was then stuck with bots with no boons or upgrades 80% done with the run, but no one could join the game which is pretty much wasted time by my book.

It's a pity those dedicated servers never came along that were originally promised when the game was first released.
Game has crashed now few times during chaos wastes. Before this expansion I can remember maybe one crash all together. Hopefully will get fixed in the future.

Server migration worked once today for the first time. That was nice.
