Unable to purchase cosmetic GK upgrade as a gift
#topic

Since I already own the Grail Knight and cosmetics, I am unable to gift anything except the base class. Is this intended?

Right, when I visit the bundle contents, it loops me back to the bundle if I try to just click the cosmetic upgrade. It doesn't seem to have its own page or something. The grail knight portion of the bundle has the "Add to Cart" button available, but the cosmetic portion of the bundle only has Bundle Info available and "Add to Cart" is not clickable.

Not "add to card as a gift" either?

Edit: It is strange; there were some difficulties with the release because this DLC was not properly linked to Steam. I am very surprised that it is apparently (?) not fixed yet.

I just tried to buy another game and added the GK-Cosmetic-DLC to the shopping cart - does not work :/

Pretty sure it's a Steam issue, not a FS issue.

When you go to the Cosmetic upgrade page, it doesn't give you the option to buy just that (at least, it doesn't give me the option). The only option is to buy the bundle that contains both the GK career and the cosmetics. Steam doesn't handle well trying to gift a bundle when you already own the base portion of it (which, I think for this DLC, the career is considered the base portion). So, in this case, actually not FS's fault.

Yup. I got the base class for my friends, but I wanted them to be able to enjoy the cosmetics if they enjoy the class. I guess it's probably better to see if they enjoy the class before getting it, though.

A prime example of logic!

Thanks, Hedge! It's not a cumbersome cost or anything, so I'll let them determine whether they value the upgrade in the future.

Some would argue splitting the cosmetics from the career doesn't make any sense at all. It certainly would have avoided this confusion. I know that you know the price of a coffee though.
I agree with you, the class should've come with those challenges and cosmetics included in the base price, not a double purchase.
