Fortunes of War Rewards
So it seems like this map really needs some major buffs in the reward department. Any thoughts? I think a bonus Emperor's chest (appropriate to difficulty level) would be a good start.

Good point, a reward dependin on difficulty would be nice
but there are no grms and tmes or dices in this mode, so we would need some special things to do to get better ewards like special enemies to defeat or sometinhg, loot rat, etc

Bosses still drop loot die, but I cant remember now if we even get a chest at the end?

Not sure whether these are tied to the reward scheme of completing fortunes of war, but I have noticed a brown fish head frame & gold highlight on player chat for said person whom had the aforementioned frame equiped.

Given the length and difficulty of it, I'd hink 2 or 3 emperor's chests/vaults/whatever would be appropriate for completing it. The frame is great and all, but you only have to clear it once to unlock that and after that there's no incentive for playing it again.

Yes, we do still get a chest at the end, but because there are no Tome and Grims and the map itself is impossible to get in Quick Play, it will often end up being a Merchant's or lower, at best, we could expect a Soldier's if Ranald is feeling generous.

Who could've guessed!

Remember how Skittergate gave the same rewards as shorter non-boss levels for like 6+ months?

Just have some chests at the end that contain all Tomes/Grims. There are like what... 4 bosses? I think that might give a decent chance in getting an Emperor chest.

Anything else might lend weight to the complaints of "pay to win" or come into conflict with the description of the DLC.

edit: Could also have a chest with 2 Lootdie or have some sack rats spawn at the end when the way opens up.

It would probably be easier to just have chests that contain all loot die/tomes/grims as opposed to programming one level to forgoe Ranald's RNG and just give you an emp chest. Having a bunch of sackrats spawning at the end would be rather amusing though.

You aren't understanding what I'm saying. I'm not saying the regular loot roll should be removed. I'm saying a bonus chest should be added to the rewards. I think throwing in some loot rats with guaranteed dice drops would be cool as well. You should potentially be able to get A LOT of dice off this map in my opinion.
I'm just excited to get the epeen waving legendary frame. That thing looks sweet.

At least they care just enough and Sanction some mods. Apparently, they don't care about how hard a map is (objectively and not counting if it's Legend or not) and how it should give different rewards according to the length and overall total enemies killed by everyone in the party.

They either need to step their game up or lose more and more players overall, imo.

Also it's worth to mention that there are only several types of boss enemies along one that is so lazily-made that it's JUST A FECKING CW THAT HAS NO HELMET AND TRANSFORMS INTO A TENTACLE MONSTER. THAT. IS. ALL.
