Cousin Okri (possible spoiler alert?)
So I heard Bardin talk about Cousin Okri in one of the new maps. Something I hadn't heard before... I was playing The Pit on recruit as Sienna to explore and search for tomes and grims. So Bardin was almost always in close proximity. One of the conversations he started was about Okri.

Bardin mentions that he spoke to Cousin Okri last week and said that Okri was considering joining their band. Do I dare speculate that Okri will become a playable character in the future? I hope so :) Or has this line been there before and I just missed it?

Not quite sure on all the banter. But there are quite some lines which could be interpreted as Cousin Okri not existing at all.

Either he never existed and is Bardin's imaginary friend or Cousin Okri being dead and Bardin Feeling traumatized/guilty about it. There is a lot of room for Interpretation. Also his search for the Dwarven Stornghold might be connected to this. Because someone mentions that is appears that Bardin isnt realy searching for it.

Even if he is alive,I doubt Fatshark would destroy Okri's mystery.

The note upon opening Okri's Challenges would imply he exists, unless Lohner is just humoring Bardin.

Reminder that if you played the first game in Karak DLC, you could hear Kruber and Bardin talking where Kruber asks if Cousin Okri is real and you can guess Bardin's reaction to it, you could find it on youtube or somewhere most probably.

I guess Okri was a ranger and he's dead now.

Now that's a 100% grudge, you wazzoks!

Okay, now for real: i doubt that we gonna get new character any time soon, or, unfortunately, at all. MAYBE new careers, but, again, not any time soon.

Agreed, it would be a lot of work to bring in Okri as a playable character, even if Bardin could be reskinned as Okri. Maybe Okri will join up and sit around the keep with Lohner and Olesya. Or be used as a damsel in distress for an upcoming mission. Or run parallel missions that occasionally intersect with and leave evidence in player missions... etc.

The whole "is Okri real?" is a fun bit that gives more depth to the interaction between Bardin and the rest. Whatever the direction, it would seem a waste to introduce more Okri related stuff and not go anywhere with it.
