Veteran vs Champion rewards?

I have not gotten a single orange out of a veteran box. (mostly emperor's and generals) it was about 90% blues. Characters level 30

I think is a really bad idea to give the same 300 power reward items in veteran than champions. This turn champion mode totally unatractive in my opinion.

Veteran, Champion and Legend can all give up to 300 power equipment. All difficulties can give you weapon illusions (cosmetics). Veteran (the difficulty) cannot give Veteran (red) equipment.
Only General's Chests and Emperor's Chests in Champion can give Veteran (red) equipment. All chests from Legend can give Veteran (red) equipment. As for Hero cosmetics (headgear, costumes etc) I personally cannot speak for as I have neevr gotten any, but from what I can understand it's Champion and Veteran only.

As fatshark said in the patchnotes, Champion and Legend are meant to be played to personally challenge the player. Sure, you can play on Veteran all the time to get 300 power equipment but you'll miss out on red equipment and cosmetics for your heroes.

idk why the veteran change to 300 power has so many people riled up. who cares? people could already play veteran, before the patch, and get 300 power level via crafting. it just took way longer. why is it a bad thing that champion and legend are just for the challenge? and if you are playing legend to get higher item power level you are already doing something wrong lol.

I've spent 80 hours on champ to grind my way up to 300 just to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the ass by the devs. And those reds aren't even that special compare to orange.

I was pleased to hear that VET can obtain 300item. So less casuals in Champs when I am grinding for reds.

You got very lucky with that roll. The selling point of red items is that they will have perfect properties so you can focus on getting the perfect combinations.

If you are lucky enough to get perfect rolls on both very good proporties ( on your 300 orange than you are about as lucky as getting a red in the first place. Cant even count the amount of Times I had to reroll to get some decent curse resist

vet is capped at 400 power so you dont need 300 power items anyways...unless you dont play for loot...

There's only a slight difference in getting better colored loot between vet and champ. The real difference is that you can grind either, but if you're tired of FF you can just play vet.
