So I have the actual version of the game 50 something GB and another Close Test version 20GB, can I just delete the Closed Test? Will the game work ok even without it?

Also - if you're looking to make some space on your drive, you could also clear your 'console logs' and 'crash dumps' directories which are located here:

1. Press the Windows key + R
2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select 'OK'
3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2

I just uninstalled the Beta version of V2 and now I CANNOT launch the vanilla game. The laucher opens and then it informs me that the game cannot be started because it cannot find the easy anti-cheat software. I suspect that the Beta version is required, so would recommend not uninstalling it.


Update: I had to validate the integrity of the V2 files to get it working again. The Beta unistall must have had some unintended consequences.

Yeah, there's a small issue involving that. I got rid of the closed beta stuff in maybe May or June last year and ran into that scenario. I would've definitely tried to let the OP know if I were on this forum and not asleep at the time of the topic's inception. There's probably no plans to add a contingency to prevent the problem because eventually no one should run into it again (probably) with the old closed test being long done.
