(In other words, just taking a bit longer to solve the puzzle doesn’t trigger the achievement. I’m not sure Elohim’s warning is even required.)
There must be some obscure requirement like it can't be your first red sigil, can't be world A, you need at least 15 sigils already, etc.
Let's compare the community stats. In the VR version, Extreme Persistence Detected is the single rarest achievement with 0.2% achievers. Compare this to the same achievement in the non-VR version which was unlocked by 38.1% of players.
It would be great if the devs could investigate and fix the issue.
