what are your graphics settings (ingame)?
if you're using custom settings, please post the content of your "display.ini" file

i'm speaking about the settings in your graphics options menu of SR:TT, there are 5 pre-settings:
low, medium, high, ultra-high, and custom

if you're using "custom", then please post the content of your "display.ini" file found here:

...\Steam\SteamApps\common\saints row the third

then about "lag":
what's your FPS?
a) indoors (idle)
b) outdoors (idle / fighting)
c) outdoors (driving a car)

just wanted to know if you were "guessing" your FPS or if you had something like FRAPS running to show them ;)

make a backup-copy of your display.ini file and name it e.g. "display.ini.ORG"
in my next post here i'll give you some lines to edit in your "display.ini"

edit those lines, save and check if it's running smoother.
you can also try to set:

ShadowDetail = 0

which turns off the shadows completly

this game is poorly optimised on current gen gaming pc systems
that supports windows 10 to say it runs so painfully slow it's like
watching an painfully converted video streamed on an dial-up
connection and this wasn't well tested ready for porting it on to
pc you can run this on max up settings and still noticed lagging
issues as an first time pc gamer I wasn't impressed I could easily
run this game on an xbox one s and it will run smoother and its
like placing an Honda pacific engine in an ford escort car with similar
results with sluggishly stop and start lag until it stops working that
what this game feels like.

What the hell are you on about, I run the game perfectly fine... on multiple systems in my house, one of them being the one I use right now, will cost more than any pc you'll ever be able to afford..

And it has far supiror specs than yours, why do you people always blame the game and not the user..... only because you may have a general knowledge of PCS, doesn't mean you know 100% that it's not your fault...

as somebody with an incredibly high end system that has no issues running any other video game's what so ever, I think it's fair to blame the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game that is KNOWN to just literally NOT WORK on certain hardware
