This seems like a perfect way to start false flagging against people you don't like, not to mention a nice way to start harassment and name/shaming. No matter how fool-proof you think a system is, there will be those who are going to prod into it and try to break it.

Just do what I do: keep a private list of every incompetent server host or annoying player. Ban them from your own lobbies, and avoid lobbies that they host. This has helped me keep dumbass zygotes and malicious people out of my games without the need to publicly list and thus pin potential harassment onto them if all they did was just spawn a loitering munition on an RP server and down a plane for giggles.

The battle community especially has an issue with servers eroding into a pissing contest where the most OP builds win, so if you're interested in that part of the game like I am then refuse to partake in servers that don't have a reasonable whitelist to ensure fair play.

We REALLY want to avoid this. Back in BRAT (the original BRAM from 2022 that was basically just a hate cult), we had a list of toxic people that we used to basically just profile them. It was horrible, and is basically what you just described. That's why we need multiple reports to add someone to the list. And we need people to report whenever a mod goes rogue and starts adding innocent people.

Yes, this is true. We should definitely have something to counter this (I'm already thinking of ideas).

Unfortunately, this goes against the plans of BAT. BAT is going to be open for any host to use. This isn't just for BRAM.

We should change the number of reports needed for each offense to have a soft prevention for this.
But I do not know how to prevent the harassment. Maybe we make harassing people a bannable offense?

I think several of these points are valid. However, as Gekina said, we do need community cooperation to keep some of these players off of the servers. Backing up reports with multiple pieces of evidence and accounts will allow us to add players that we know are toxic and to ensure people aren't banned because of individual bias

To be fair, as a cartoonist, an argument is great for new plot content and ideas, especially as they're often stupid and use logic that can only work in a cartoon universe.
