The specs for an average middle of the road 2016 iMac would be a 2.8GHz intel core i5 (quad core), 8gb of ram, and intel iris pro graphics 6200 (which is equivalent to a GTX 560) These specs reach the minimum requirements, so I'd say the game would run alright on them.

Why are you using a mac for gaming?
GeorgieBoy Dec 18, 2016 @ 7:12am
Because they are actually not bad for gaming. Everybody just has a go at the mac because its for making games not playing them.

Using Mac for work.
Works much better than PCs, except gaming.
A lot of people do not buy a second computer just for gaming ....

Using bootcamp is not that comfortable but works brilliant for most games... With bootcamp you get double FPS or even a lot more

If you just took a generic Macbook Air and ran Brick Rigs on it I don't think it would survive 15 seconds (As just in my opinion). But it seems as a good idea.

I believe most people may be buying this game on that 'generic' macbook air and not realizing that there are minimum specs (I end up skipping past minimum specs a lot lol). So if you ran Brick Rigs on a high end Mac (Like those iMac coming out this fall) I think it would do a pretty good job.

1+

Your mac is garbage for gaming...maybe there are good ones out there but you paid a ♥♥♥♥ ton of money for something that is not meant for gaming....but since it has hardware that meets minimum requirements....just come off the 99 bucks for a copy of windows and make a windows partition for gaming only. Developers are not going to (generally speaking) throw money into developing for a minority gaming platform. Nor should they have to. Anyone who is an actual gamer knows that windows and direct x is the directiont to go for gaming. I personnally am sick of seeing the "make this for mac because i know jack and ♥♥♥♥ about computers" threads.
