Which is why I also suggested that in Build mode there would be a texture, like the standard pink and black missing textures texture, so that anyone who DLs from the workshop would know that certain blocks are there when opened in Build mode, but wont be there when spawned into the open world.
I guess you'd also have to make it so that Invisible blocks are not available in MP and would be replaced by another texture, to avoid messing with other players.
The whole idea was brought about by the want to create the illusion of hovering, for more futuristic builds, and also flying cars with wings that are invisible so they still look like cars but fly when triggered.
I wouldn't expect the collisions to be removed, just the textures so some knowledge of the overall size would need to be gained in build mode.
