Steamdeck gamepad: Fix

Here is how i got my steam controller working in gamepad mode.
1. start the game
2. change the steam controller mode to keyboard (wasd) and mouse
3. go into options
4. gameplay options
5. should see all the gamepad stuff unselectable
6.. now open the steamdeck controller options (STEAM->Controller settings)
7. Change layout to RECOMMENDED, Gamepad with Joystick Trackpad
8. Return to game, hopefully now the Gamepad options that were grayedout will now be selectedable and now controls working as game pad :)

game just works off rip for me on steam deck, you sure you didn't turn off controller input in settings

Trying to replay on steam deck before 2nd one comes out ur a G for this.

Had this issue.

For me, what fixed it was hitting the Steam button, going to controller settings, and hitting "Reorder Controllers" -> turn your Steam Deck Controller to 1.

Nice to hear it works. I see that it’s playable. I wonder what stopped it from being verified…..

For me controller input was off by default. Just gotta turn that on in gameplay settings
