They do exist as a skin for the multiplayer part of the game. It's the 'Emperor's Elite' DLC, currently 39 cents with the discount and all. But this only applies to the PvP and Extermination mode, they are not present in the actual story campaign.

The dlc is only a special skin. It's possible to have a black templar color scheme with the black Templar's symbol without dlc. Outside of that evrything Barkspawn say is correct.

Yeah, all the basic chapter skins available to wear in multiplayer/exterminatus, but Ultramarines are the only ones you play as and make up 99% of campaign story. There are appearances later of a couple chapters and mentions of another.

About a 1/3 of the way thru campiagn there a comment made about Space Wolves.

In chapter 16: A group of blood ravens help you for a short assualt across a bridge and to clear landing zone

and at end of the game the inquisitor in final cut scenes is escorted by 4 Dark Templars, so they do make a guest apperance.

...It is feasibly possible to play the campaign using the black templar skin via modding, i know i saw one somewhere, but it wouldn't change dialogue or anything, and as usual, user beware.
