Emperor Protects achievement

I am a sort of achievements hunter and i almost completed this game on 100%
i have only two more achievements to do:
emperor protects, complete Part 1 without dyng or re-start
and the one about completing the game on hard mode.

Reading around it seems that the two achievements are bound, in this sense: if i complete the "emperor protects" achievement before completing the game on hard once i finish the game i will not get the second achievement.

Any veteran can confirm this?

And for "emperor protects" achievement i really must complete it in one session?
Because it seems that if i re-start from a checkpoint i will not get the achievement, also if i haven't died.

Is there a way to get this achievement, emperor protects one, in a safer and more sure manner?

Trying to do the same at the moment, but from what i read you must not load checkpoints, just use the continue option up to the game's end - checkpoint must not been loaded. (That was my understanding and what i am doing now)

Complete part 1 without dying or reloading. Completion on hard mode, however, does not require completion in one sitting, just completion of the campaign on hard.

so you guys have already done the MP cheevos? wow... just did the finish part one on hard on my third try and its not that hard. the MP achievfements are what really grinds my gears... nobody up for exterminatus at least?

you just have to do part 1 of the game in one go. and you can get both achuvements in one play through

probabily to me it would take more, it s a lot a don't play single player

Well, for the "The Emperor Protects" achievement, you gotta do it one go, no deaths, no checkpoints, no restarts. It's a bit tricky but you learn the maps and where the tough enemies spawn after a couple of tries. The one about completing the game on hard difficulty, "None Can Stand Before You", is a separate achievement i.e. you can complete "The Emperor Protects" and then quit, restart or get killed and it will not affect the progress of "None Can Stand Before You" (you'll still have completed part 1 on hard after all) and vice versa - you can die during Part 1, restart, beat Part 1 and it will count towards "None Can Stand Before You".

try to take your time dont rush the 2 acheivments that require hard mode took me a while to do on xbox and finnaly got all

did anyone do the 'finish game on hard mode' achievement with mods? I just finished the campaign and it didn't tick off. Emperor Protects did not have this problem - biggest problem was the time. I had to retry the whole campaign a few times before I managed it..before I learned how to deal with that first nob..

if it didnt unlock its clearly because you use mods. Deal with it
