Restoring progress made from Xbox 360 *please help*
I know that this will be very much a long shot, but I think it's at least worth asking.

I loved this game from when it first came out, I got it on the 360 and devoted countless hours of gameplay on both the campaign and multiplayer matches with all DLCs eventually purchased. I got up to the maximum experience level of 41 and gained a high proportion of achievements that gave me access to all the perks and loadout options that enhanced my effectiveness in combat. I even managed to get the achievement where you start from the beginning of the campaign on hard difficulty right through to destroying the orbital cannon without dying or restarting (that one took me all night to achieve).

My hope was that the game would be made backwards compatible for the Xbox One along with a lot of other 360 games (some of which a lot less deserving in my opinion.) Sadly that never happened...thanks Microsoft.

Anyway I just purchased it again through Steam as it was selling for a more than reasonable price at the time and although I look forward to getting back into what I saw as a genuinely fun experience, I dread the thought of having to work hard all over again to level up my Space Marine to the unrelenting killing super-human I remembered back then.

So my question, is there any conceivable way anyone can think of where I can transfer the progress I earned from playing the game on the 360 to the game that's on Steam? I got as far as saving a copy of the save file from my 360 HDD on to a USB flash drive. I understand that the filing systems of both platforms will be in different formats so I need to find a way of translating the saved information to something that will be valid for Steam's software, I just don't know where I should be looking to find this out. Unless there is a alternative "back door" method I could use that makes the system recognise the progress I already made on the Xbox

Please bare in mind that although I love to play a lot of games and am not hopelessly computer literate at the same time I am not a gaming genius (smaller the words the better general rule of thumb lol) If there really is no way and that I have to just suck it up and start all over again, so be it.

But in any case, thank you for your time.

Hi! Yeah well to be frank I doubt there's a way to accomplish that in the way you'd like.
But I have a guide on how to unlock everything in just a minute or two.

If you don't want to put in the effort to level everything up again feel free to
JOIN THE SPACE MARINE DISCORD
Link is on my steam profile, here. https://discord.com/invite/thMTEkk
Just go to #click-here-to-see-channels and at the bottom there's a "#get-all-stuff" channel where the guide itself is.

Type in #help if you need anything, we're here to help :)

I am in the same spot. I wouldn't be worried, except there isn't nearly the activity there was. You used to be able to find games a lot more easily. now its nearly dead.
