The Worst Ending Ever!
I've played a few games, but the ending was the worst! Fun game though! :steamsad:

As it is written in the Codex Astartes: "In the grimdark grimdarkness of the 41st grimdarkium, there is only grimdark."

So wrong. I just beat it, I thought it was the best ending in any game ever.

The ending sucks because there was supposed to be a sequel, two of them, actually.

Sometimes, the journey is more interesting than the final destination (QTE final boss, lol)

I agree. Definitly up there with Mass Effect 3 and Clive Barker's Jericho.

:fearsomeaura: Always better than the ending of DoW 3

Yeah, there was supposed to be a sequel which never got made. A shame really, considering it's one of the better 40K games out there.

Jericho's was so very bad. I loved the game up to that point. Fun shooter, but ♥♥♥♥ that ending.

The only thing a didn't like about the ending was how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Titus reacted. It would have been way cooler if Titus commended his brother of doing his duty by reporting him.

A very fitting 40K finale.
The battle against Nemeroth is pretty lame, but the story is just right: grim and dark.
I wish the made a sequel though....

Yeah the battle was ass, even in '08 QTE boss battles were done. But at the time the publisher was running out of cash and pretty much rushed everything out in a desperate bid to stay solvent, so given what was happening behind the scenes, its amazing Relic did as good of a job as it did.

Keep in mind theyd never done a third person shoot afaik, and managed to make a pretty fun and somewhat innovative one, and did a decent if obviously tacked on job of the multiplayer modes. but their corporate masters needed moar cash to keep paying for the IPs, like Warhammer 40k and UFC, plus trying to make weird hardware.

Gotta say this is true. Last boss is still a bit of a let down.

To me 40k has always been about finding an excuse to put a bunch of people who hate each other in the same room (or planet). I don't think anyone can really say the story of this game is a masterpiece but it gets the job done.

Just wish orcs wern't made the jobbers of every relic game.

I mean, that's cool, but the quick time event fight definitely is not. Super let down on a gameplay perspective -- especially for a game that didn't have quick time events the entire rest of the game. So disappointing.
