Warhammer 40K: Space Marine Issue

The game never loads... When started the little loading window appears but in a few seconds disappears again.
Nothing happens at all...
Please help me out.

you have to be more specific then that are you looking at a black screen? does the game not start at all? we need details so we can help you

I am hvving a similar issue. The game starts at a black screen then immediatly crashes. Tried verifying integrety of game files and reinstalling.

A weird solution but it worked for me. Make a shortcut of the .exe to your desktop and then right-click it and select "Run as Administrator"

Something like this happened to me one day and I couldn't figure it out, but then I tried this... Go to your Library, right click the game, click Properties, then click the Local Files tab, and then Very Integrity of Game Files... Should work, hope it does, did for me.

Thank you for your answers. No black screen at all. I verifies the files and still the same thing occurs...
My comp is with monstrous configuration so that's not the issue...
Any other suggestions?

Firewall blocking .exe ? else de/re-install.

I set the resolution to low and the firewall isn't even active and yet I still have the very same problem... Oh and reinstalled it twice already :/

Thanks for the tips, man but still nothing happens. The process as it was beforehand.

Unfortunately I think I’m at my limit, bugsplatt and failing to load is usually sorted with checking the steam files... and sound but black screen is setting to windowed start and changing the resolution. Possibly removing any C++ instances and re installing ? But this may impact other programs ( personally I only run the most recent C++ and remove older ones when I find them re-installed). It sounds like it is being pushed off screen - although I guess your process dies as well ?

Yep...I did everything basically... I reinstalled the game twice or more, verified countless times the files.tried changing the resolution. And unfortunately the game as if loading ( you know that tiny black window that appears when a game is loading) and then the window disappears. In a minute or so appears again and disappears again. Endless cycle. Thank you for your help though, mate!

Yup. Same. Even attempted to input -window into the startup command. Still crashes at startup. This game used to work for me. I tend to window if the recent win10 update that addresses a vulnerability issue in intel cpu's has borked this game.

there is a wierd fix that was stated earlier by Ghost, in which you would go into the local files and click "run as administrator" on the.exe file
