Game not starting

Game's crashing whenver I launch it, getting the bug splat error everytime? Is it compatibility/resolution issues?

I was having the same issue just now.
Going to game properties and varifying local files fixed it - it downloaded a 9MB update and now it works fine.

right click game, propertys, check cashe.

I got that too one time, just kept coming up. though I didn't adjust anything. I thought it was some virus or scam,

If you're on Win 10 guys then, this will be a reaccuring problem I'm afraid. It's easily enough sorted, Just either check cache integrity or do a complete re-install. You'll need to do this Every time Win 10 does a major install too.

Or at least that has been the case until recently. Had an update just before Christmas and the game remained fine. So that problem might be solved or something, who knows ?

But in any case just use Steam functions to fix and repair and it will be right as rain again.. Easy !

Verified and fixed the cache and it's working now. Thanks guys

I've had the same problem. just do this: Right-Click on the game in library > Properties > Verify integrity of the game.
My problem has been solved by downloading 2 files around 9Mb.

Yeah I've tried to fix it by verifying installation of game folders but it says there's two folders missing and I'll delete the game and reinstall it and the two folders are still missing. So it's not entirely downloading everything. Which is causing the error if anyone knows how to fix this please tell me
