Game doesn't save video settings

I noticed that everytime I load the game, the video settings get reset to the defaults. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yes, but i just deal with it, if you don't like it, try changing them and saving game!

I found a solution to the problem, so if he knew immediately that the reason windows 8.
Go to the folder with the game and set the file rf4_launcher.exe compatibility with windows xp (sp3).
If you help (and I think it will), accomplish your goal.

Can you even run DX10/11 if you win xp compatability. Maybe try Win 7 compat if you are having DX issues.

Actually, the real solution is to make rf4_launcher.exe always run as an Administrator. This is a side effect of setting it to Win XP compatibility mode, which is why that works too.
