Recon/Commando Pack Question

Hey all, just wondering if someone can help me with this.

A friend bought be the retail version of this game that comes with the Recon and Commando packs. I put in the codes to activate them, and I get the skins to use in the campaign, but aren't they supposed to be used in Infestation mode as well? They don't show up when I click to customize my character.

Also, do the dlc weapons show up in Infestation as well? If anyone can answer these, thanks!

They worked for me in infestion mode as well. I think you can't select them from the first rounds. I believe they appear on later rounds (just like the other weapons do).

Edit. oh you are talking about the skins. Sorry no idea about that. I don't think so.

Bummer...I was looking forward to using the skins, as I don't like the four default ones. The Recon and Commando were advertised as being useable in Infestation, though, so...Oh well.

So the skins are available for campaign? Someone said they were just for Infestation.

Yeah. Apparently it's the other way around. I can use the skins in Campaign, but not in Infestation.

Ah that's good to know. I'm trying to get the Commando & Recon edition but some people say that the unused codes for the outfits have expired already.

I can say that my codes were still good, even though the "Valid Through" date on the cards were last year.
