Funny since I was playing it last week
So, it doesn't run...FOR YOU
Many people probably got turned off by the first level or two and quit.
But this one is TREMENDOUSLY fun the farther you go into it.
The key is to salvage and powerup early as much as possible.
Once you start collecting weapons for the weapon rack, the fun starts bubbling.
This game has some of the most fun weapons in gaming from a gun that fires Black Holes to (as mentioned) a unicorn that fires rainbow-particle beam, anally (a reward for the first play through completion).
Red Faction guerilla is fun, but this game amps up the destruction with the ability to reconstruct (in a most fascinating way) the levels you have destroyed!! Plus, you always move forward in this game, never a dull moment, and never grinding. Explore the map, get more salvage, but you don't have to grind to do it.
poeple only hate it because it's not a direct sequel to guerrilla.
think of it as the ghostbusters II of games, underrated but gooooood.
*i'm cheap*
