Homefront PhysX error *FIX*

You try to start HF and this error pops up:
"physx is not installed correctly would you like to install it..."
you click OK but nothing happens.
I personally have an AMD card so that might be a problem, but here is how to fix this.

NOTE: if you have a newer phyx driver installed, deinstall it.

1.You have to download this physx legacy driver (even if you have an AMD card for some reason)

2. Install it and that's it, the game should start.

I've played HF on a Intel/Nvidia setup and I didn't get this error, but when I tried to play it on my Intel/AMD laptop i recieved it, I think this game isn't well optimised with AMD cards but idk.

Hey, go to control panel and search for PhysX, click on repair. Then try to run homefront again. Worked for me! Hope it works for you too!

I cannot believe this!
It was working fine, and ... all the sudden I get this message V_V

Run the whole intro of the game and the first mission without an issue about a week ago.

Check Programs and Features for it, or use Settings, Apps in Windows 10.

Also, the latest driver of version 9.19.0218 is advised, especially if you have newer GPUs. You can find it here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/physx/physx-9-19-0218-driver/ .

The legacy driver posted by OP was previously touted as a more stable driver that fixed the issue. I cannot confirm if using it instead of the latest version is more viable, however, due to having not tested it personally.

Check the above link in this post for the latest PhysX System Software, seemingly optimized for the Turing architecture among other things according to its release notes. Uninstall the prior version by finding it either in Control Panel->Programs and Features, or Settings->Apps in Windows 10, and replace it with the above version.

I've tried the 2013 driver, the OPs driver, the updated driver, fixing each from the control panel, and i still get this error is there anything i can do?

These prior attempts at fixing the error included installing Version 09.19.0218, right?

Download why its saying that you.

1. you have a newer driver that is not compatible with homefront.

2. you do not have a PhysX driver. if it says that this will work 100%.

Go to the website and download it then open the file and start the setup. it should take 30s to 2 min to download then open homefront and enjoy. Also if mirrors edge won't open download this if you have it. thats off conversation. LAST THING! enjoy.
