Homefront refuses to Start. {NOW FIXED SEE BELOW}

I was just playing SP yesterday and now every time I try to start Homefront it shows starting in Friends then clicks OFF. I have Verified Game Cache over and over. Deleted Homefront in My Documents My Games Homefront. ReDownloaded and Verified successfully again but STILL will never Start. I have no custom settings In AMD on the game either. HELP? Soon I must send a bill for hours wasted at my normal rate of $300 per hour on spot jobs.


t was working great .. I am getting NO PhysX error complaints for my AMD card on start. I have a 2016 FOLDER called "Cut Old PhysX from Homefront .. Replaced by latest in Common" with PhysX exe in there 9.0.9.1112 in that folder as a Removed or What should be in HomeFront PhysX .. I forgot and did not make notes.

I clicked on folder in Common for .exe .. it complained a missing DX 9 .dll 42... I went to Windows and got latest DX .. fixed it .so there was a bug on DX very odd. Solved.

I try to install the game after installed the program can't start because d3dx_43.dll is missing from your computer so I dowload d3dx9.dll from internet but the program still can't start how do i fix it?

Which game are you trying to install?

Download and run the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer on your computer and then try to start the game.

how can this be the only discussion on the physx error?
thanks dude but didn't work with me. i still get a "physx not installed" error and it doesn't install or do anything.
i am using AMD

Hello.

The fix for PhysX not working correctly is to Repair it via Control Panel.

Click on NVIDIA PhysX there, click the Repair prompt, and click the Repair option in the PhysX installation tool.

Thx for tip unfortunately i'm running Win 7 and nvidia control panel does not have a Repair prompt.
Its ok though I have a number of other games to play ;)

In that case, uninstall that version and download the latest PhysX version via the GeForce website. I have a guide posted for that.
