Next Update?

The release history doesn't appear to be accurate. Do you know what the general timeframe is for the next update :)?

We've been distracted with some computer issues (blown motherboard, replacement works but the CPU we used is dead, hence we are a machine down..) - but we're still working away at the next release - I've updated the release history to be much more accurate now :D

We've managed to get the machine sorted, it literally took 2 motherboards and 2 CPU's before we found the problem.. we're back on track, so I'll update the release thread with new details :)

In a nutshell.. Oculus touch support has been painful :)

We needed to add support for using the thumb controller to rotate, teleport, etc.. and it just broken a lot of stuff but the good news is that we're almost there..

So expect all that new stuff before the weekend, we go in to final testing tomorrow :D

We're almost there :)

The new release has been tested on both Vive and Oculus, and we're just doing some tidy up in the next 48 hours...

So expect the release this Friday morning (UK time!)

I appreciate your honest feed back, and if your looking for the "full" zombie experience then we fully appreciate we need to get more of those features in and get some general polish done!

Unfortunately we lost our main dev machine (just died..) and after new 2 motherboards and 2 cpu's we finally got it working again.. This and some long overdue holidays really delayed us way more than we wanted - our fast release every few weeks stopped for 8!

It would be great if you could write a total list of the things you think are required for the full experience.. Such as:

1) Need a "uber machine" (upgrade weapons)
2) The gun sounds from X game are the best, can you get them like that..
3) Better movement means Y
4) I'd love to see weapon Z, I'd use it like this: XYZ

We are completely community lead and we need this feedback to really get things sorted..

I determined to turn that negative into a positive, just give us the information and the chance :D

@Deep Voodoo Gaming, hey, I know how hard it must've been to deal with the dev machine going down and the general stress of game dev. I also know how hard it is to stay motivated for a project long term(especially something like a VR title where you really aren't raking in the $$$ for the time spent), so I've taken down my negative review and will come back with some useful constructive info. Thanks for everything you're doing for VR, your kindness, and sorry for any concern that my review might've caused. Have a great night, and know the next review I post will only be after the game leaves Early Access, where I think it's more fair and apt to post a review(negative or positive).

@Poon - That's for that, reviews are kind of king in regards to sales - and whilst we want to earn some money to pay the bills we don't want to make something people feel is half finished, needs polish or could do with a killer feature..

I'm looking forward to your list of features and things you think we need to tweak..

We're currently exploring a new animation system for zombies, another negative review stated quite clearly that they weren't the best.. so we're going to more dynamic animations, with reactions, etc. :)

Out of curiosity what are your thoughts of the next update? I personaly like the game and am looking forward for more! :) the way the zombies move currently still gets me panicked when being chased while unlocking more paths lol
