How to bind the voice commands?

I want to bind "Death screams", other warning quotes, etc. But how?

Type in the Console: bind "The Button you want to bind" "vocalize PlayerDeath" for the Death Scream. An Example: bind "v" "vocalize PlayerDeath". You can find a list of Vocalize Commands at some Websites, such as Everything yet Nothing[www.everythingyetnothing.wordpress.com].

They patched the game years ago so you cannot use bind vocalize commands. You have to put them in a radial menu like the one suggested above.

You're right. It still works in Left 4 Dead, I was active on it's Forums and I forgot about that.

Yeh, you no longer can. As said use a radial menu instead they are easy to make or you can just download another persons and keep that or edit their radial menu to suit your taste.

uh...so I tried it and it doesn't seem to do anything it just says in the console "vocalize playerdeath" did I do something wrong?

This method of binding a key to specific vocalizer command has been patched, and no longer works. You need a custom vocalizer menu.

And try not to bump up an old thread, please.
