L4D2 Being able to spawn all survivors (L4D1 to L4D2)

Hello, I wanted to know how to play L4D2 on a L4D2 map and be able to play with the L4D1 survivors. Basically playing with them together

there are a lot of mods in the workshop that can do that.
the most popular and best rated one i think is the suvivor swap mod by rayman: >klick here<

(disable the mod when playing L4D1 maps, otherwise youll play them with L4D2 survivors)

download this: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=121070254. in the game at the main menu there will be a new game mode called raymans mutations pack after you download this mod. click it then look for the mutation United We Stand. It should be in the campaign mutations 3 category near the bottom. hope this helps.

Yea it has the survivors from L4D1 but they are un playable and it's survival I want to play with them together in the campaign

I dont understand what you mean. Do you want to play survival or do you want to play campaign? Survival and campaign are two different game modes.
In campaign mode the goal is to survive and fight your way through the map to reach the saferoom/rescue vehicle. In survival mode there is no way to finally survive (i.e. getting rescued) and no need to get somewhere, its just about how long you are able to survive, so the goal is to achieve a good time.

What do you mean with "play survival in campaign"?

No, no sorry I see how that is confusing I mean like I want to play with the L4D2 and L4D1 survivors in the campaign mode or atleast being able to spawn them in with the game to play as them with the L4D2 survivors in the campaign mode

that's actually in Rayman1103's mutations mod, but there are two varients, the first is united we stand, where all 8 survivors are together, but its on a survival map. The one you're looking for is United we stand co-op, its the exact same thing as United we stand, only you're actually playing a campaign, but keep in mind that you can't use the L4D1 survivors and that they're pretty much invincible.

That is not what I want at all... I seen servers have the L4D1 survivors play with the L4D2 survivors in the campaign there must be some way to play with them

Ok, my last attempt, lets try it step by step...

I summarize (the important steps) :

(1) TopDog, you say you want to play a campaign with both L4D and L4D2 survivors.

(2.1) AgentWashington tells you that Raymans mutation mod can do this, i.e. the United we stand mutation

(2.2) You answer: Thats not want you want because its a survival map but you want to play campaign and the L4D-survivors are not playable.

(3.1) 794redfield tells you that there is in fact a United we stand campaign mode.

(3.2) You say thats still not want you want. What you want is "L4D1 survivors play with the L4D2 survivors in the campaign"

Correct so far?

My answers:

(A) What you said in your last posting what you want (3.2) matches exactly redfields suggestion (3.1). You negated that but didnt say whats wrong with this mutation... what is it, that you want, that this mutation cant give you?

(B) The only aspect you mentioned, noone has responded to so far is that L4D1 survivors arent playable in the mutation. Is that the problem? Do you want to play as a L4D1 survivor together with the L4D2 survivor(-Bot)s but in Raymans mutation only the L4D2 survivors are playable? (I have never played this mutation, I dont know if thats the case)

(C) Not every modification you see on a private server has to be necessarily available for everyone in the workshop or wherever. Some serveradmins make their own mods, just for their servers. Maybe, whatever this mod is you mean, its one of this kind.



If you answer this time please tell me exactly to what you are referring.

Alright so.. the mutations of the raymans mod have the L4D1 survivors but they are unplayable like... they are like how they were on the passing unplayable and staying in one position i've never played the co-op version yet. I want to be able to spawn in the L4D1 survivors with the L4D2 and play with them together in the campaign not survival especially when you cant even play as them or they barley particapate
