Low hour noobs run off from a veteran team and get incapped (be it, forward, backwards, or completely divergent)
Veterans run off from a low hour team and get incapped.
Each blame the other, rage-quit, or grief, and the cycle of L4D2 continues.
A) Stick with the team
B) Stick with the team
C) Stick with the team or
D) STICK WITH THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TEAM
Don't get me wrong. I try to work with all 3 other players. But if at any time arguements start, I just simple keep playing. Seems to be better that way. I know I started to enjoy L4D 2 by sticking to the basics. I used to strees out by working with EVERYONE. But that didn't work. The rage quitting & griefing / trolling only got worst. That's why I don't think too much about useless philosophies when playing public L4D 2 campaigns.
People are just ignorant or enjoy being stupid and run off to do their own thing.
It's the same you'd see in some other team games but it's sting is more apparent in l4d because its only 4 players.
Everyones playing on different pages and self destruct the team. It's really frustrating
1) Cannot adapt & refuse to accept that there are other ways to play. In a arrogant manner for that matter.
2) Try to reason ( not good reasons either ) with points & philosophies that are useless.
Btw, why always concentrate on bad things? I want to thank all the awesome people I met thanks to L4D2 !! Thank you for amazing and funny 300+ hours.
:>
Look out for your team, and your team will look out for you.
Be very obvious right from the start that you're playing with one goal only - to help your teammates survive. You can do this in a number of ways but the most effective I've found is to be the last one through every doorway.
Stop at every doorway, take a knee, turn around and cover until everybody else is through, then follow. Do this a few times and people will start to emulate your playstyle.
Team first, me last. It's contagious.
(coincidentally, this almost always results in having very high zombie kill counts at the end of the level, if that matters to you)
It's only valid for the rushing player(s). Anyone tagging even slightly behind will have to deal with all the zombies stirred up by the rusher(s). For rushing to be effective, everyone has to be on board from the very start.
