Left 4 bots 2 problem to many bugs
bots have issue deal with tank , when he's punch or thrown rock to those them and they'll didnt shoot him and just stare him in few second ( stand or retreat ) , it's so annoying bugs

But wait the bots are kinda suicide and dies. Anyone know how can I fix this?

have the bots become dumber?
I've created a list that I didn't feel were that problematic until The Last Stand Update:

Slower reaction time
Slower shooting
More inaccurate (I remember the A.I. being annoying because of their aimbot, but now they're not a problem)
Will completely abandon a downed player next to them if another down player (let's say on the other side of the map or something) has lower health
Will be completely confused if a Smoker pulls a Survivor up, especially on a ladder

Worst AI bugs Valve never bothered to fix

1. Bots who carry sniper rifle full of ammo using pistols against horde until incapacitated or killed.

2. Bots shoving Boomer at each other until incapacitated or killed.

3. Bots not rescuing single Survivor pinned by single SI or hanging from the ledge because it is not in their line of sight.

4. Bots not rescuing two Survivors pinned by two SI because they can't make up their mind who to help first so they instead just stand there doing nothing.

5. Bots not rescuing Survivor pinned by SI near startled Wittch until they kill the Witch or she goes out of sight.

6. Bots not picking items when literally standing on them.

7. Bots going out of the way and into danger (triggering Tank, etc) to pick items.

8. Bots randomly shooting Witch or gas cans.

9. Bots not shooting Smoker from distance but instead chasing you through half a level as you get pulled through crap and take damage.

10. Three bots cannot shoot and kill one Jockey but instead keep chasing you as you get ridden through half a level, spit, horde, boomer, witch, fire, off a cliff, etc.

11. Bots not shooting Hunter, but instead shoving it and letting him pin you or someone else again.

12. Bots sometimes just standing and taking damage from a single zombie until incapped.

13. Bots not shooting zombies attacking them next to the alarm car (even though they can jump on the car and not trigger the alarm!) until they get incapacitated or killed.

All of the above are bugs in the game and could (and should) be fixed.

I saw that in hard rain or parish for example in hard rain chapter 2 bots won't use the elevator and only will use it if there is no human, i just noticed that the same goes for the passing map 3 finale, Bots accident using throwing molotov and pipebomb taking damage or bots closing door from saferoom any solution any need update thanks?

Bots i cannot inside saferoom closing door any should fix solution any update?

Omg... :steamhappy: . Just why did you post it here too when you had already posted similar bug reports on L4B2 discussion threads? I think I remember that the co-author with numbered name already replied & told you that they would do something on the next update. So, you can try to wait until then. Or add other bot mods that can work together with L4B2 to improve bots further. I think one of them that can work with L4B2 is "Competitive Bots" mod.

Have you custom your ems config? No bot mods are truly perfect. At the end you gotta play with real humans.

Weird, for me even the standard ai was not good but excellent, the best ai teammates out of any other game I've played, the only problem I had with them was them not picking up med kits after the starting area, reason why I installed Left4Bots2, and now with the mod it made them better than ANY human player. But I am having a problem with the game, and it's the enemy ai getting ridiculous, and I'm not sure if the mod has something to do with it, because the game was fine and really fun before, but now it feels like I'm playing vs against a full team of headset coordinated players. Usually traps like rusher knocking people out of nowhere, long thong lasso and either a tank or spiter or even both finish people off, it's WAAAAY too coordinated and ridiculous that I've had people commenting that my lobby was in no way normal difficulty and felt more like vs, some even leave

I think I might just remove the mod to see if it goes back to what it was, but I really like the teammate ai though

Fortunately I just checked L4B2 bots recently because there's a bug report on my Bot Flame Evasion that seemed weird. Once I tested it, somehow I didn't find most of problems you mentioned. Probably it's because I also used other bot mod like Cruel Bots during testing.

So to put it simply, just like my suggestion before, try to add other bot mods that can work together with L4B2, so the bot mods can complement each other. Normally L4B2 alone should be no problem, but as the authors are still working for the next update, you can add other bot mods to collaborate with L4B2 until the new update arrives.
